Legendary Locals of the Long Beach Peninsula

If you live on the Peninsula, or even if you’ve visited here a few times, you are well aware that “everybody” seems to know “everybody” here.  Furthermore, you barely need to scratch the surface to find that lots of us are actually related in one way or another.

Many people have contacted me since Legendary Locals of the Long Beach Peninsula came out last May to tell me of people they know who are among its pages.  For fun, I’ve copied the index (below) – minus the page numbers and, lest it go on for days and days, in paragraph form.  I challenge you to look it over and see how many people you know (or knew) or who are your nearest and dearest.

Then, if you don’t have the book already, get a copy to see what amazing information I have revealed about them!  And, beyond that, send a few copies out for Christmas to folks you know would be interested – maybe someone who once ate at The Ark who would like to know more about Nanci and Jimella.  Or a family with kids who wouldn’t miss visiting Marsh’s Free Museum for the inside scoop on Jake-the-Alligator-Man.
